Elements Involved with Deforestation in Haiti
ByMy topic is deforestation in Haiti. Some elements in the area are carbon, nitrogen and oxygen and hydrogen. The reason I think these elements are involved in my topic are:
Nitrogen- Major part in the regrowth of ecosystems, low levels of nitrogen make the regrowth process much slower.
Oxygen- Throughout the soil oxygen is vital for the health and organisms living in it. Some organisms help bind the soil.
Hydrogen- The water washes away the soil causing the big issue of erosion.
Carbon- The lower levels of trees and other growth causes increased levels of carbon dioxide in the area.
These elements are quite relative to the soil and environment issues being caused.
