Blog post 2 Wildlife hunting and trade

By

My ecosystem is the rainforest in Borneo.

Mostly young orangutans are effected by people hunting them and even pet trading them. The continuance of these actions really brings down growth of the population of orangutans. As people hunt and trade these animals, they can not breed enough and they can not provide food for predators. We all know that if even one small thing changes or gets taken out of an ecosystem or food web, the whole thing can crash. With all the hunting and trading, limiting factors are greatly effecting the rainforests and as the population the carrying capacity goes down as it does not have to hold as much as it did when the population was higher.
