Julie Reimer is a PhD Candidate (Geography) at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. She holds a Master of Marine Management from Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS) where she conducted a lot research on industry receptiveness to large whale conservation technologies. Her undergrad training was in biology, with a focus on ecosystem ecology, that she received at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON).
She is a good candidate for the team because is very good at public speaking and can make various proposals. She can help bring even more people to help on this issue

Nikki Traylor-Knowles
she is a cell biologist that studies the evolution of immunity, wound healing, and regeneration. She did her undergraduate and master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD at Boston University in Biology. Her PhD dissertation focused on wound healing mechanisms in corals and sea anemones. She did her post-doctoral work at Hopkins Marine Station, Stanford University and studied the interaction of the coral immune system with heat stress. As a postdoctoral fellow she was awarded an NSF Ocean Sciences Fellowship and the Burroughs Welcome Fund Postdoctoral Award.
She can help by researching more about the corals and what is actually wrong with them. Setting a strong foundation of information that will be important in the future
